General Information

The AdOpt programme has now completed its developmental pilot phase across a number of diverse local authorities in England.  An accreditation process has been designed and set up by the NIS to allow local authority sites the opportunity to become licenced as accredited AdOpt providers.  The NIS has also now entered the important preliminary evaluation phase of the AdOpt programme as part of the NIS’s Evidence Based Interventions Programme.  This has involved recruiting several separate local authority sites who have agreed to take part in this research.  The NIS has also started the process of enlisting suitable academic (university) institutions to work in collaboration with to ensure the highest quality research outcomes are achieved.  For more information on this research programme please see the ‘Evaluation' section.
